BoT sees 4-per-cent growth possible

Bank of Thailand (BoT) has viewed that it is possible that the country would register the 4-per-cent economic growth this year as forecast by the World Bank but on the conditions that the effective fiscal budget spending is fully achieved and the confidence of both consumers and investors pick up in late second quarter or in the second half of this year, said the bank's spokeswoman Roong Malikamas on Wednesday.
