Japan, Us fail to reach broad TPP accord

Japan and the United States were unable to secure a broad deal in marathon two-way talks on a Pacific trade accord despite last-minute efforts to solve remaining issues before the US President Barack Obama leaves Tokyo, Japan's economy minister Akira Amari said Friday.
