Army chief advisor becomes chief negotiator with insurgents

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has appointed Army chief advisor Gen Aksara Kerdphol as the head of the Thai team to hold a peace dialogue with southern insurgents, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Gen Prawit Wonsuwan said Friday.
