India helps early disaster warning system

India and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) announced today a major new contribution of US$1 million to the Escap Multi-Donor Trust Fund for Tsunami, Disaster and Climate Preparedness in Indian Ocean and Southeast Asian Countries.
