FDA to impose limits on steroid sales

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will soon limit the amount of steroids that a pharmacy can sell, with a doctor's prescription, at up to 1,000 pills a month and require outlets to report details including steroid suppliers, plus the amounts procured and amount sold, deputy FDA secretary-general Prapon Angtrakul said yesterday.
