Fingerprint scanning app to be used by year-end: NBTC

AN application that scans people’s fingerprints will be implemented by the end of this year to provide more protection for consumers using mobile phones to conduct money transactions, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) said Monday.
