'No mobile during dinner' campaign launched in KL

Malaysia's National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN) director-general Datuk Dr. Siti Norlasiah Ismail said a recent survey conducted by the board showed that some 76 per cent of young Malaysians communicated with their parents through mobile phones, and were lacking in real physical contacts with people.She said during a campaign to reject cellphones during dinner that Malaysian youths resorted to SMS, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media sites to communicate with their parents.
