Archer Witthaya finishes 41st in ranking round

On a day when Kim Woojin set the Sambodromo Archery Range alight with his superb form after the Korean archer established new world and Olympic records of 700 points in the men’s recurve individual ranking round, Thailand’s Witthaya Thamwong scored an aggregate 655 points to finish 41st among 64 competitors on the very first day of the 31st Olympic Games archery competition on Friday.
